    ‘Squid Game’ actor convicted of sexual misconduct

    Los Angeles: Actor O Yeong-Su, best known for his role in ‘Squid Game’, has been convicted of sexual misconduct over allegations he hugged and kissed a woman on the cheek against her wishes. O was sentenced to up to eight months in prison, suspended for two years, by the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court, Deadline reported, citing information from Korean reports. The 79-year-old was charged in 2022 over allegations that he hugged a woman and kissed her on the cheek in 2017. However, he denied the charges. After leaving the court on Friday, he told reporters that he would appeal the ruling, which included attending a 40-hour sexual offender treatment program.     Canadian actor Kenneth Mitchell, known for his roles in Marvel’s ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ died on Saturday, February 24.       Los Angeles: Matthew Perry died from the acute effects of the anesthetic ketamine, according to the results of an autopsy on the 54-year-old “Friends” actor released Friday. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said in the autopsy report that Perry also drowned in “the heated end of his pool,” but that it was a secondary factor in his October 28 death, deemed an accident. The report says coronary artery disease and buprenorphine, which is used to treat opioid use disorder, also contributed. Perry was declared dead after being found unresponsive at his home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. Investigators performed the autopsy the following day.
