Malkajgiri: Vikram Goud, president, BC Vidyarthi Sangham Kendra Committee, on Sunday represented to MLC Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao seeking construction of BC Girls Hostel in Malkajgiri constituency and setting up of a BC Gurukul Hostel here.

In the representation, Goud appealed to the MLC to allot the veterinary hospital land belonging to his family in Alwal for the Gurukul hostel as a gift. In response, the MLC assured to make efforts for the construction of the hostel.

He said many welfare schemes for the benefit of BCs were on the anvil and that the government was committed to their welfare, Goud told press persons at BC Bhavan at Vidyanagar. Among those present were constituency women’s wing president Neeraja Mudiraj, Uday Kiran Goud, Naresh, Narsimha, Kalyan, Gautam, Sivakumar, Arjun.
