Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday threw a challenge for IT minister KT Rama Rao saying that he will quit politics if his sister, TRS MP Kavitha manages to retain her seat in the coming elections.
Addressing the media at the Congress Bhavan, he alleged that corruption was rampant in TRS and the time has come that people of the state should kick TRS out.
While he expressed confidence of retaining his set in the upcoming elections,
Komatireddy said that he is ready to quit politics if Kavitha is elected again from Nizamabad Loksabha constituency.
The Congress leader further demanded the state government to cancel the recognition of corporate colleges such as Narayana and Sri Chaitanya and arrest the persons responsible for 2016 EAMCET paper leak.
