The State Government is mulling to hold assembly sessions in such a manner that they coincide with the Lok Sabha sessions.

Accordng to sources, this would be done to intensify the agitation for the special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The party also wants to raise the issue of fulfilling the assurances given at the time of the AP bifurcation.

As part of it, holding simultaneous sessions would help the TDP in countering the BJP, sources say.
