India to take on Maldives in final SAFF football cup in Dhaka

India will take on the Maldives in the summit clash of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup in Dhaka today. Seven-time winners and two-time defending champions India comprises of under-23 players except for one and has been the only unbeaten side in the tournament, so far.

It defeated today’s opponents Maldives and Sri Lanka, both with the scoreline of 2-nil, in the group stage. In the semi-finals, they prevailed over Pakistan, 3-1.
