PM Modi turns 68, in Varanasi today to celebrate birthday with students

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turned 68 on Monday, is going to celebrate his birthday in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.

The Prime Minister will reach Varanasi for a two-day visit on Monday afternoon.

On the occasion of his birthday, PM Modi will visit Narur village, where he will interact with children of a primary school, aided by the non-profit organisation “Room to Read”. PM Modi will watch a film based on his life with the school children.

Later, he will interact with students of Kashi Vidyapeeth and children assisted by them on the premises of Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW). President Ram Nath Kovind extended his greeting to PM Modi and tweeted, “Birthday greetings to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Wish him a long life and many years of dedicated service to the people of the country.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh also took to Twitter and wished the prime minister.

“Warm greetings to Shri @narendramodi on his birthday. Under his leadership, India has grown tremendously and became the 6th largest economy of the world. He is a man of vision and action who is working assiduously to fulfil the dream of New India. I wish him good health &long life,”.
