New Delhi, Mar 11(UNI) Over the ongoing sealing row in the national capital that has triggered outrage amongst local traders, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called an all-party meeting over the matter on Tuesday and has written to Delhi Congress and BJP chiefs respectively, inviting them to attend the meeting.
He has called the party leaders for a meeting on Tuesday at 1200 hours at his residence.
Mr Kejriwal also said that he would go on a hunger strike if the sealing does not stop by March 31.
Earlier, Mr Kejriwal asked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi for a meeting to discuss the sealing issue that caused unrest amongst the traders in the capital.
The respective municipal corporations of the different zones have undertaken the sealing drive as per directions of the Supreme Court appointed committee last year.
Various trader associations across the city are opposing the sealing drive stating that there livelihood was being threatened while claiming that the sealing was happening despite paying the required conversion charges and other dues to the concerned authorities.
