Telangana: Vexed woman strangles, beats alcoholic son to death in Kothagudem
Vexed by her son Rajkumar’s harassment, the woman Dudamma tied his hands and legs, strangled and beat him to death Kothagudem: A woman allegedly killed her son, who was addicted to alcohol and was troubling the family members, at Edurugadda village of Laxmidevipally mandal in the district on Thursday. The deceased, Elkapalli Rajkumar (40) was said to have been torturing his mother, wife, and son physically and mentally for the past some time. His family members told him several times to mend his ways but in vain. Vexed by her son’s harassment, Dudamma tied his hands and legs, strangled and beat him to death. Officials seized 3,750 kg of spurious cotton seeds and a truck, altogether worth Rs 98.7 lakh. The arrested person was identified as S Naresh, a truck driver from Mancherial district. The absconding suspects were Suresh, from Mancherial, and Ramana from Karnataka. According to the police, Suresh hired Naresh for the transportation of prohibited (BG-III) cotton seeds from Ramana to Mancherial. For the assignment, he was paid Rs 50,000. CCTV footage reveals that the customer after withdrawing cash from the ATM deliberately urinated on the machine Hyderabad: A man allegedly urinated on an ATM belonging to a private bank after withdrawing cash from it at Raj Bhavan road under the Punjagutta police station limits. As per available information, the incident occurred on March 10, when the unidentified man entered the ATM centre to withdraw cash. After completing the transaction, he urinated on the cash dispensing machine, which allegedly damaged the machine’s sensor. The incident came to light when the bank staff inspected the ATM recently and discovered that the sensor was not working. Hyderabad: The teams of the Commissioner of Food Safety, who conducted inspections at Yashoda Dairy Products, Jeedimetla, Quthbullapur, have reported multiple violations at the facility under Food Safety and Standards Act. The inspecting teams reported house fly infestation, non availability of records related to pest-control, employee health, water and food analysis. The facility has several openings to the outside environment and is not fitted with insect proof meshes, flooring was found to be wet and patchy with stagnation of water and no proper drains. The employees were wearing hairnets but were found to be handling the food articles with bare hands, the inspecting teams observed. The arrested gang members have been identified as B Takri, Ghouri Jhara and Dhanarjaya Khila, all from Malkangiri in Odisha. According to the police, the trio confessed that on the instructions of Sanjay, the kingpin from Malkangiri, they procured the drug from sources locally and came to Hyderabad in a private bus to deliver it to a drug peddler in Mangalhat.
