
24-year-old man died after his motorcycle rammed into a DCM on Ibrahimpatnam Road near Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. He and his friend were rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. Police booked the DCM driver and seized the vehicle
Hyderabad: A 24 year-old man died in an accident on Ibrahimpatnam road in the city outskirts on Saturday night.
Cheemaral Vamshi (24), a resident of Manchal in Ranga Reddy district, was going along with his friend Praveen on a motorcycle on the BN Reddy Nagar road, Vanasthalipuram around 2 am.
“A DCM was going ahead of Vamshi and the driver applied sudden brakes. Vamshi could not control his bike and rammed into the DCM from behind. Both Vamshi and Praveen suffered serious injuries. They were rushed to hospital where Vamshi died while undergoing treatment,” said Vanasthalipuram sub inspector, J Ravi Naik.
A case is registered against the DCM driver and investigation started. The DCM was seized.
