Deepika Padukone is representing India at 75th Cannes Film Festival as one of the jury members. India has been chosen as the first ‘country of honour’ at Marche Du Cinema. Now, on day 3 of the event, the actress opted for a heart red gown teamed with an elegant diamond neckpiece. The actress tied her hair into a bun to complete the overall look for the festival. Earlier, Deepika had expressed that someday Cannes Film Festival will be hosted in India. She had said, “We have the talent, we have the ability and I think we just sort of need that conviction and I truly believe there will come a day won’t be at Cannes, Cannes would be at India.”
On the work front, Deepika will next feature in ‘Pathaan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film has been slated to hit the theatres in January 2023.
