Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty To Create A Desi Expendables
Bollywood actors Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty are teaming up for movie that has been touted to be the father of all action films. Reportedly, Ahmed Khan, who had produced Om: The Battle Within is collaborating with Zee Studio for the action event.
According to reports published on a leading media portal, producer Ahmed Khan has managed to get the top action stars of Bollywood on board for his next project. The film will be directed by Vivek Chauhan.
Speaking to the media portal, a source close to the development said, “The baap of action – Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff are teaming up on a dhamakedaar action entertainer. The film goes on floors within a month with a marathon schedule. The movie will be shot at multiple locations, including a studio in Mumbai.”

The film is slated to release in 2023 and will have all the four actors showcase their heroic best. Moreover, reports further reveals that the makers are planning to release the film on a big holiday. “It will be a treat to all the action lovers,” the source said further stating that the makers are confident of attracting a big audience when the film hits theatres as all the four actors have strong fan bases in the masses even today.
The source also disclosed that it’s an attempt by the producers to bring back the 80s popular action stars together in one single movie. “It’s more of a desi Expendables, as all the four men are historically known for having an action image among the masses,” the source said.
While the movie is still in the planning stage, the makers have all the logistics in place and script that justifies the four actor’s presence in the film.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol will be seen in Gadar 2 and Chup. Gadar 2 is a sequel to Sunny Deol’s 2001 historic blockbuster movie, Gadar that featured him alongside Amisha Patel. Sanjay Dutt recently featured in Yash’s KGF: 2 and Akshay Kumar’s latest outing Samrat Prithviraj. He will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera.
