Drishyam 2: First Teaser For Ajay Devgn’s Film To Be Released On Thursday & We Can’t Wait
Bollywood star Ajay Devgn just took to his Instagram account and finally shared the first look from his upcoming movie Drishyam 2, which is the sequel to the splendid first film Drishyam.
The Singham actor announced that the ‘recall teaser’ of Drishyam will be out on September 29.
In this particular poster, Ajay can be seen standing and holding a shovel behind his back, which clearly brings back memories from the first film where Ajay spent quite some time with a shovel.
The movie, which is reported to release in theatres on November 18 this year, looks to be something similar to what happened in the first film, at least in terms of the fact that Ajay’s character will have some serious tricks up his sleeve.
“2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. (Do you remember what happened on October 2 and 3?) Recall Teaser Out Tomorrow! #Drishyam2.”
As you know, Ajay has been working really hard for the last few years, with movies like Bhuj, and his upcoming Singham 3 as well.
Just a day earlier, Ajay had given his fans something new to get excited about.
With Drishyam 2 already in the works, the actor actually went to the extent of sharing a few pictures from the first film as clues for the sequel.
In Drishyam, Ajay played the role of Vijay Salgaonkar who protects his family after his daughter accidentally kills a boy who tries to blackmail her with pictures of her.
In the film, after disposing of the boy’s body, Vijay removes all traces of proof and then takes a family trip to Panaji, after which he goes to Ashram, before later watching a film, and eating at a restaurant, in order to create alibis that will help him safeguard himself and his family.
Ajay then took Twitter to share with fans memories of the first film. Ajay also shared pictures of a ‘few old bills on Twitter, with the photos a reference to the scene in which Ajay’s character and his family save the bills of a trip they made to provide proof that they were not involved in the murder, which is central to the plot of the first film.
“Kuch purane bills haath lage aaj (I came across a few old bills today)!” tweeted Ajay.
The photos included a restaurant bill, a CD of a Maha Satsang of Swami Chinmayanandaji, a bus ticket, and movie stubs.
All these items were part of the main proof with the help of which Ajay’s character manages to save his family from the cops. The bills were also dated to October 3, 2014, which is exactly the day in the movie when the events transpire.
The first movie was directed by Nishikant Kamat, with the super-successful movie starring Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, and Rishab Chadha.
The movie was actually a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, with both movies doing amazingly well with fans.
