All of the TV shows and movies leaving Netflix on November 1
As the turn of the month comes around, it means that an influx of new Netflix shows and films will be added to the platform, but it also means that we will be waving goodbye to some well-established titles.
Netflix don’t actually own everything on their platform, and in some cases they licence titles for a set period of time. When that epoch comes to a close, these shows and series are removed and subsequently unavailable to watch.
While most Netflix Original shows are exempt from this process, with the platform owning the rights indefinitely, some shows – like Hemlock Grove for instance – have made way in the past.
The Liverpool Echo reports that everchanging titles come and go throughout the month, but a number will be removed on October 31 – meaning your last few days to catch them are slowly ticking by. Of course, they’ll be in-turn replaced by other titles, such as the latest series of The Crown, which airs from November 9.
Easy A – One of Emma Stone’s first big roles, the film follows her navigating the trials and tribulations of American High School life.
John Wick: Chapter 2 – The second installment of Keanu Reeve’s action packed series also features performances from rapper Common and acting legend Laurence Fishburne.
Kill Bill: Vol 1 – Quentin Tarantino’s sword swinging extravaganza starring Uma Thurman will leave Netflix at the end of October.
LA Confidential – Based on James Ellroy’s 1990 novel of the same name, the film follows a group of LAPD officers exploring police corruption in the city.
Liar Liar – The fantasy comedy film starring Jim Carrey as a lawyer who built his career telling lies, but is forced to only tell the truth for one day.
Point Break – Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze star in this iconic action-thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
Spotlight – Based on the true story of the Boston Globe’s 2011 investigation into abuse in the Catholic Church.
