When Aditi Rao Hydari opened up about her marriage to Satyadeep Mishra at 21: ‘It broke my heart when we separated’

The gorgeous diva and an equally amazing actress, Aditi Rai Hydari celebrates her birthday today (October 28). The actress, who turned a year older today, is known for her roles in movies Padmaavat, Rockstar, Wazir and many others. Aditi mostly prefers to stay away from the limelight and refrain from talking about her personal life in public. However, during one of her earlier interviews, the actress opened up about her marriage to actor Satyadeep Mishra and said that it broke her heart when they separated.

Not many know that Aditi Rao Hydari got married to Satyadeep Mishra at the age of 21. She revealed during one of her earlier interviews that she fell in love with Satyadeep when she was 17 years old and that was her only “serious relationship”.

She told Times Of India during an interview, “I got married at 21 to Satyadeep, who was a civil servant and lawyer and gave it up to become an actor.”

Talking about their separation, the actress had said, “It broke my heart when we separated, but only the name of the relationship collapsed as we are friends and are still close. For his mother, I am a daughter and for my mother, he will always remain a son. He is much older to me and always teases me about being his child who he cannot get rid of.”

She further said, “I don’t think that discussing personal stuff in terms of which family I come from or where I grew up, all that is not important as actors. We have to be transparent and we need to take on whatever is given to us, and we need not talk about our private life in open.”

Aditi Rao Hydari made her debut in the film industry with the 2006 movie Prajapathi. She was last seen in Dulquer Salmaan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Hey Sinamika. Speaking about her upcoming projects, she will reportedly be seen starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi. She will also feature in the Tamil film Gandhi Talks and in the upcoming web series Jubilee.
