Drishyam 2 box office collection Day 28: Ajay Devgn’s film finally sees a decline
Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 had a massive run at the box office. It is finally slowing down now as its numbers keep dwindling between Rs 1-2 crore. Even with this drop, Drishyam 2 continues to keep a strong hold despite several new releases in the theatres. Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, Drishyam 2 is competing with Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, Ayushmann Khurrana’s An Action Hero and Kajol’s Salaam Venky.
Abhishek Pathak directorial venture Drishyam 2 opened at the ticket windows on November 18 with Rs 15.38 crore. Gradually, the film kept breaking records at the box office collection. However, it is finally slowing down now. On Day 28, December 15, Drishyam 2 saw a drop in its collections as it raked in just Rs 1.45 crore approximately at the box office. Hence, the film has managed to mint a total of Rs 215.81 crore at the domestic ticket windows, according to trade reports. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 had an overall 8.48 per cent Hindi occupancy on Day 28.
