‘Trump Joins BJP…’, TMC Leader Mahua Moitra Takes Dig At Saffron Party
Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra never leaves a chance to take a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This time she has shared a photo of former US president Donald Trump and PM Narendra Modi.
Sharing the picture on Twitter, Mahua wrote, ‘Whatsap forward alert..Trump joins BJP to evade arrest!’. The morphed picture shows Trump wearing BJP printed scarf and entering a room in which PM Modi was standing.
The TMC leader took the apparent dig at BJP after her party’s allegations that ‘people join BJP to get a clean chit.’
In February this year, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP allegedly used ‘unparliamentary language’ on the floor of the House during the Parliament to target BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, as per the eyewitnesses. Following this, BJP MPs started a ruckus in the Lower House.
Of late, Mahua has been targeting PM Modi linking businessman Gautam Adani. Making an apparent reference to Gautam Adani by describing him as Mr ‘A’ in the House, the TMC MP said that he has fooled the government.
“Prime Minister, this man Mr ‘A’ has fooled you. He travels with you on your delegations. He meets heads of state on visits to India. He portrays that India is Prime Minister and the Prime Minister is him. He makes it appear to the world that he is the remote control behind the Prime Minister and by obliging him will be obliging the Prime Minister,” she reportedly said.
