Police Complaint Filed Against Badshah For Using The Word ‘Bholenath’ In New Song
On Friday, a complaint was filed against singer Badshah at the MG Road police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The complaint was lodged by an organization called “Parshuram Sena,” accusing the artist of offending religious sentiments by using the word ‘Bholenath’ in his new song ‘Sanak,’ which allegedly contained objectionable lyrics.
The police official in charge, Santosh Singh, confirmed that an investigation into the allegations would be conducted, and appropriate action would be taken accordingly.
Vinod Dwivedi, the lawyer representing the organization, claimed that using the word ‘Bholenath’ in the song had hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.
In response to the complaint, a group of individuals protested in front of the MG Road police station, where they burned an effigy of Badshah.
The police are expected to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter before taking any further action.
Recently, reports were circulating about the marriage rumors of singer Badshah and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi.
According to these reports, the couple planned a gurdwara wedding ceremony in North India in April, which close family and friends would have attended.
