Naidu says Jagan may hold polls this year end

VISAKHAPATNAM: Former CM and TD national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is fearing growing anti-incumbency against his government in the state and might go for elections this November or December.
Addressing a public meeting in Pendurthi on outskirts of Visakhapatnam as part of his mass contact programme “Idemi Kharma Rashtraniki” on Wednesday, Naidu said the ensuing elections would be the biggest fight between the good and evil.
“This election will be Kurukhsetra. I will win and enter the Kaurav Sabha as a victor,” he observed. He said the initial signs of TD victory have already come with the party winning the crucial MLC elections.
The TD chief asserted that YSRC will not get a single seat in the 175-member house. He asked Jagan Mohan Reddy not to eye Kuppam but try not to get defeated in Pulivendula.
He said people of Vizag love peace, honesty and care for one another. This peace will disappear if Jagan Mohan Reddy and his aides pitch their tent in Visakhapatnam.
Listing out Jagan Mohan Reddy’s misdeeds, Naidu said prices of essential commodities, including cooking gas cylinders, have gone up and are the highest in the country.
