VIJAYAWADA: BJP national general secretary D. Purandeswari lambasted the ruling YSR Congress government for failing on all fronts and adopting anti-people policies in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing party leaders at the BJP state executive committee meeting held at Gannavaram on Friday, she said not a single section of people is happy with the rule of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. This is the reason why BJP is filing chargesheets against the YSRC government from the village to state level. The party will expose the Jagan Mohan Reddy government for failing to fulfil its promise made to people at the time of the elections.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP MP G.V.L. Narasimha Rao pointed out that though the Narendra Modi government is giving huge amounts to AP for NREGS, construction of houses and welfare, the YSRC regime is claiming credit for these schemes.
With regard to the political alliance, Narasimha Rao said AP BJP will continue its alliance with Jana Sena. He disclosed that the party’s national leadership is deliberating on suggestions made by JS chief Pawan Kalyan on additional political alliances.
BJP national secretary Y. Satya Kumar alleged that YSR Congress is diverting funds allotted to AP under BC, SC and ST sub-plans. He accused the AP CM of not constructing a single house for the poor in the state during his more than four years of rule.
Satya Kumar said their party will continue its fight against the corrupt practices of YSR Congress government and reach out to people, explaining about the good works done by the Modi government throughout the country.
