Exclusive: First look at inside of Ram Temple in Ayodhya
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event at Ayodhya’s Ram temple on January 22. Top opposition leaders have also been invited to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple.
According to Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Working President Alok Kumar, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has sent invitations to senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and JD(S) supremo Devegowda for the inauguration of the newly built Ram Temple next month.
Preparations for the ceremony are in full swing and are expected to conclude by January 15. The praan pratistha puja is scheduled to begin on January 16 and conclude on January 22.
A procession of tableaux displaying scenes from the life of Lord Rama with 100 idols of the deity will be taken out in Ayodhya on January 17 to mark the start of the week-long celebration for the Ram temple consecration ceremony.
Most of the Ram temple compound will be a green area with hundreds of trees and the complex itself will be “atmanirbhar”, the trust told PTI news agency.
