Ashok, an 18-year-old intermediate student, went with friends to immerse a Ganesh idol at a local lake on Sunday and returned home late at night without informing his parents. His father reportedly scolded him for not letting the family know about his whereabouts.
Hyderabad: An intermediate student died by suicide at his house on Sunday after his father scolded him.
The boy Ashok, (18) who was pursuing his intermediate course from a private college went along with his friends to immerse a Ganesh idol at a local lake on Sunday. He returned home late in the night.
The boy didn’t inform his parents about it and the father of Ashok allegedly scolded him for not informing the family before going out.
Ashok reportedly slipped into depression over the issue and hanged himself to death in his room.
On information the Suraram police reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination to mortuary. A case is registered.
