Revanth Reddy’s claims on loan waiver, transfers and recruitment exposed

Entrepreneur Nayini Anurag Reddy challenged the Chief Minister’s claim that there have been no teacher transfers in 18 years. On X, he shared a copy of GO Ms16 from June 6, 2018, showing that over 50,000 teachers were transferred in a large-scale process designed to address staffing imbalances. The transfers were carried out online to ensure transparency.

Hyderabad: A day after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made a few statements regarding the promised crop loan waiver, teachers’ transfers, providing jobs and others, people from different sections are questioning his statements and exposing his false claims.

Nayini Anurag Reddy, an entrepreneur, countered the Chief Minister’s claims regarding teachers transfers that since 18 years there were no transfers.

Sharing a copy of GO Ms16 issued on June 6, 2018 on X, he said a large scale teachers’ transfers process involving more then 50,000 transfers took place in 2018, aimed at addressing staffing imbalances. This process was conducted through an online system to ensure transparency.

On the Regional Ring Road project, the Chief Minister claimed it was secured after approaching Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.

Fact was that in 2017, the BRS government had proposed it and by 2018, the Union Ministry gave provisional approval. In June 2021, the NHAI issued tenders for the DPR to the northern section of RRR. Subsequently, the then Chief Minister had appealed to the Union government to sanction the Southern section of RRR under Bharatmala Pariyojana, Anurag Reddy said.

On the Chief Minister’s claims that crop loan waiver upto Rs.2 lakh of every farmer was completed by August 15, Anurag Reddy pointed out that as per SLBC, Rs.49,500 crore was required for loan waivers. Revanth Reddy estimated that at Rs.40,000 crore. The Cabinet approved Rs.31,000 crore for loan waivers.
Rs.26,000 crore was allocated in the budget and Rs.17,933 crore was waived in three phases, he said.

“On one side, farmers in the State are committing suicide due to the failure of the loan waiver. On the other side, CM claims he sees smiles on the faces of farmers,” he said.

Regarding recruitment claims by Revanth Reddy that 30,000 jobs were offered within 90 days, he said all of these jobs were notified by the BRS government.

“All the exams for these jobs were conducted by KCR’s govt and all the certificate verifications were done by the BRS govt. In conclusion, he didn’t give 30,000 jobs, he merely issued appointment letters for jobs filled by the BRS government,” Anurag Reddy pointed out.

He further added that there were many more claims by Revanth Reddy that are nowhere near the truth.

“It is surprising to see a CM lying so easily so many times in just one single speech without any discomfort. It is because he probably believes in what Goebbels said: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”,” he pointed out.
