TGEAPCET 2024 BPharma admission counselling begins after 3-month delay

Pharmacy admissions for TGEAPCET MPC stream candidates were scheduled to be held alongside engineering admissions in July and August. However, these were delayed due to pending approvals for pharmacy colleges from the Pharmacy Council of India.

Hyderabad: After a close to three month delay, the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TGEAPCET) 2024 admission counselling for BPharmacy and PharmaD programmes for the academic year 2024-25 is set to commence on September 24.

The Technical Education department on Thursday notified a detailed schedule for the admission counselling.

The pharmacy admissions for the TGEAPCET MPC stream candidates were to be done along with engineering admissions, which were conducted in the months of July and August. However, it could not be conducted due to delay in pharmacy colleges receiving approvals from the Pharmacy Council of India.

As per the schedule, candidates who qualified the TGEAPCET 2024 in the MPC stream and attended the certificate verification held in July and August should exercise web options on September 24 and 25.

Commissioner of Technical Education A Sridevasena said only one phase of counselling will be conducted and asked candidates to exercise the web options carefully.

Candidates who had already joined in engineering branches during TGEAPCET-2024 (MPC stream) admissions are not eligible to exercise options, she said.

Provisional seat allotment is scheduled for September 27. Candidates who receive seat allotment have to self-report online and pay the tuition fee on September 27 and 28, and report at allotted college either on September 28 or 29. For more details, visit the website https://tgeapcetb.nic.in.
