As repair works are to be taken up to stop leakages that occurred in Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-3, during these 24 hours there will be disruption in the supply of drinking water
Hyderabad: There will be no water supply in some parts of the city for 24 hours from 6 am on Thursday, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) said.
The affected areas include Sastripuram, Bandlaguda, Bhojagutta, Allabanda, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Prashasan Nagar, Tattikhana, Lalapet, Saheb Nagar, Auto Nagar, Vasavi reservoirs, Sainik Puri, Maulali, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society, Kavuri Hills, Snehapuri, Kailasagiri, Devendra Nagar, Madhuban, Durga Nagar, Budvel, Suleman Nagar, Kismatpur, Gandham Guda, Boduppal, Mallikarjuna Nagar, Chengicherla, Bharat Nagar, Peerzadiguda and Dharmasai (Shamshabad).
The HMWSSB in press release on Wednesday said a leakage has occurred in 2375 mm dia ms pumping main in Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-3 which supplies drinking water to Hyderabad. As repair works are to be taken up to stop this leakage, during these 24 hours there will be disruption in the supply of drinking water, the water board said requesting the consumers in affected areas to use water sparingly.
