Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Four police officials including a woman Sub-Inspector, worked with Kaghaznagar Rural police station in the past, were placed under suspension for allegedly indulging in corruption. An order to this effect was issued by Multi-zone Inspector of General S Chandrashekhar Reddy on Saturday.
Woman Sub-Inspector Soniya, Assistant Sub-Inspector Manu head constable J Umesh, Ramesh were suspended for committing corruption while investigating a murder case that occurred at Vanjiri village in Kaghaznagar mandal a few months back.
Superintendent of Police DV Srinvias Rao carried out a probe into allegations levelled against the officials and submitted a report to IG Chandrashekhar Reddy. Based on the report, Reddy initiated action against the four police officials.
