Karimnagar: The Karimnagar Police on Wednesday issued a lookout circular against an NRI on charges of threatening and demanding Rs.20 lakh from Choppadandi MLA Medipally Satyam.
According to the police, Yasa Akhilesh Reddy made threatening calls to the legislator. A native of Bhavaninagar, Boduppal of Rangareddy, Akhilesh is staying in London. Police said the MLA received WhatsApp calls from an unknown number (447886696497) on September 28. The caller demanded Rs.20 lakh and warned to blame him politically if he failed to arrange money.
