Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police served a notice to BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy directing him to appear before the police on Friday.
The Banjara Hills police had registered a case against Kaushik Reddy early this month for allegedly obstructing the Banjara Hills Inspector KM Raghavendra.
The MLA had gone to the Banjara Hills police station on December 4 to make a complaint alleging his phone was being tapped. When he entered into the police station compound, Kaushik Reddy observed the Banjara Hills Inspector was leaving the police station.
He rushed towards the Inspector and asked him to accept the complaint from him. It led to heated arguments between Kaushik Reddy and the Banjara Hills Inspector.
Although, the police accepted the complaint of Kaushik Reddy, the Inspector lodged a complaint alleging the MLA obstructed him while he was leaving on an emergency duty.
