Hyderabad: Telangana’s Vennala K and Shriyanshi Valishetty secured the girls’ doubles title at the Yonex-Sunrise All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament in Hyderabad on Friday.
The duo defeated Maharashtra’s Taarini Suri and Tamil Nadu’s Reshika U in straight sets, 21-15, 21-16, in the final. Meanwhile, another Telangana player, Pranauv Ram N, finished as the boys’ singles runner-up after falling to Rounak Chouhan 16-21, 13-21 in the final.
