Hyderabad: To reach out to the retired veterans from the Indian Armed Forces and their dependents, the Military Hospital Golconda under the aegis of HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area organised a medical outreach camp at Golconda.
Specialist treatment facilities, including general medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, dental, orthopaedic, gynaecology and cardiology besides various diagnostic tests, were provided to the veterans who were also provided free medicines. The Hyderabad Veterans’ Lions Club and Army College of Dental Services also participated.
HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area Brigadier SK Chetty interacted with the veterans and assured all possible support towards providing quality healthcare.
He reiterated the Indian Army’s principle of reaching out to the veterans and being always present to address their concerns. He thanked all veterans and acknowledged their service to the nation and society. Around 350 veterans and their dependants attended the camp.
