Vijayawada: Considering the recent industrial accidents in Andhra Pradesh, the AP Pollution Control Board in a proactive way is conducting a series of sensitization programs on safety aspects through webinar in co-ordination with Factories Department and Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad, with an objective to prevent accidents in the industries to protect the people and environment.

peaking on the occasion, he said that a High Power Committee was constituted to examine and analyze the circumstances leading to industrial accidents during COVID time.
He said that the webinar conducted by AP Pollution Control Board is one of the first of its kind India and the representatives from 300 Most Accident Hazard Industries in the state would largely benefit from the training programme through these webinars to make Andhra Pradesh an accident free and environment friendly State.
