The victims were later identified as Divya Bindu, a native of Chhattisgarh and resident of Vanasthalipuram, and Ankith, a resident of Nanakramguda and native of Madhya Pradesh
Hyderabad: Two persons including a woman were found murdered by unidentified persons at Pupalaguda in Narsingi late on Monday night.
The victims were later identified as Divya Bindu, a native of Chhattisgarh and resident of Vanasthalipuram, and Ankith, a resident of Nanakramguda and native of Madhya Pradesh.
Police during their investigation found that Bindu was missing from January 3 and following a complaint, the police had registered a woman missing case the next day. Ankith worked at a construction site in Nanakramguda.
“Ankith and Bindu are known to each other. On January 8, he went to Vanasthalipuram and brought Bindu to Nanakramguda. He accommodated the woman at the house of a friend,” said DCP (Rajendranagar) Ch Srinivas.
The police questioned a friend of Ankit and collected some details from him. Bindu has three children whom she had left at home and went away on January 3. “It is not clear what happened during the ten days between January 3 and January 14. Our teams are trying to piece available clues to reach a conclusion and identify the assailant,” said the official.
The police detained a couple of persons for questioning. Bindu was also in contact with another man over phone for last few weeks, the police had learnt.
