HYDERABAD: Soon after news broke out that Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy’s personal assistant Devireddy Satish Reddy was allegedly involved in a Rs 40 crore scam, the MLA’s PA responded, claiming that it was a false campaign.
Since the last few days, there were reports on social media that Satish Reddy and his wife Pallavi had collected Rs 40 crore from different people to set up a casino in Goa. However, responding to these reports on Tuesday, Satish Reddy said it was a false campaign being run deliberately by a few sections on social media platforms.
“I have not run away and I’m very much in Hyderabad. They have not taken my version before publishing such reports,” Satish Reddy said, adding that a complaint was lodged with the LB Nagar Police over what he called “baseless reports”.
