Two rural medical practitioners booked for duping public in Telangana’s Mancherial
Takini Srinivas and Chetupalli Satynanna were practicing medicine without possessing necessary qualifications
Mancherial: Two rural medical practitioners (RMPs) were booked for allegedly flouting the Telangana State Medical Practitioners Registration Act, 1968, National Medical Council Act and duping the public, in Jannaram mandal centre on Thursday.
Members of Telangana Medical Council and Indian Medical Association’s task force conducted raids on the clinics and found that Takini Srinivas and Chetupalli Satynanna were practicing medicine without possessing necessary qualifications and for reportedly prescribing medicines to patients, leading to death of some persons.
The two were handed over to Jannaram police for further action.
