The influencer is suspected to have crossed into Pakistan via the Wagah border, leading to the issuance of the notice
Suryapet: The Suryapet police have issued a lookout circular against YouTube influencer and bike rider Sunny Yadav in connection with a betting app promotion case. The case was filed on March 5 at the Nuthankal police station in Suryapet district. Sunny Yadav is currently overseas, according to Suryapet DSP Ravi.
He was suspected to have crossed into Pakistan via the Wagah border, leading to the issuance of the notice. Police stated that immigration officials were instructed to arrest Yadav immediately upon his entry into India. Yadav has been accused of promoting betting apps through his social media accounts, resulting in financial losses for many individuals. Additionally, he had allegedly earned profits from these promotions.
State Police, prompted by RTC MD VC Sajjanar’s social media post, had already registered cases against several social media influencers involved in similar activities.
In the Nuthankal police station, a case has been registered against Yadav under multiple sections, including 111(2), 318(4), 46 r/w 61(2), BNS 3, 4, TSGA 66-C, 66-D, and the ITA 2000-2008 Act.
In light of these developments, reports suggest that Sunny Yadav has approached the court seeking anticipatory bail, while police continued their search for him.
