They were now left with no option but to fetch water from sources located in neighbouring villages. Kanaka Lingu, a resident, said that their women were trekking long distances every day to get a pot of drinking water as the hamlet was facing acute drinking water crisis for quite a long time. He requested the officials to take steps to address the challenge at the earliest. He regretted that they were hesitating to invite relatives and to perform functions considering the crisis.
