Hyderabad: Burglar involved in dozen cases nabbed, gold worth Rs. 1.7 lakh recovered

According to the police, the suspect Saddam Hussain targeted locked house and broke into them and also stole valuable of passengers in crowded RTC buses along with his associates since 2010

Hyderabad: The Task Force (South-East) team along with the Humayun Nagar police have arrested a burglar involved in a dozen cases and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 1.7 lakh on Monday.

The arrested person is Shaik Saddam Hussain (32), a carpenter from Mallepally in Habeebnagar. A suspect sheet is also active on him in Habeebnagar PS.

According to the police, Saddam Hussain targeted locked house and broke into them and also stole valuable of passengers in crowded RTC buses along with his associates since 2010.

He was previously involved in 46 theft cases and other property offences.

In the year 2024, he was last arrested and sent to judicial remand by Narayanguda Police. After releasing on bail he continued to commit thefts in buses.

Recently, he stole a gold chain from a woman at Mehdipatnam bus stop.

Following a complaint, the Humayun Nagar police booked a case and he was identified and nabbed.
