Hyderabad: A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her house in Athvelly in Medchal in the city suburb on Friday.
As per available information, K Laxmi (50), a construction worker, was alone in the house for the past few days.
Police said Laxmi was found dead with external injuries on her body by her neighbours.
The Medchal police shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. The CLUES team collected samples, while footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings was being examined. Police are investigating whether she died naturally or it is a case of homicide.
