Hyderabad: In a rare honour, the winner of the Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand, received a customised Charminar-themed ‘My Stamp to Miss World 2025 from Telangana Postal Circle, Hyderabad.
The Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle, PVS Reddy, presented the My Stamp to Miss World 2025 along with 19 other contestants, who were part of the prestigious beauty contest.
On the occasion, the Miss World appreciated the efforts of the Postal Department to preserve and promote cultural heritage through such creative initiatives. She praised the Department’s innovative approach in connecting tradition with global recognition, a press release said.
Millie-Mae Adams (Miss Wales) shared her comment on social media by saying that she was incredibly honoured to receive the personalised stamp.
‘My Stamp’ is a personalised postage stamp initiative by India Post, allowing individuals and organisations to feature their photograph, logo or chosen image alongside selected thematic designs. The specially designed ‘My Stamp’ featuring the iconic Charminar pays tribute to Hyderabad’s historical significance and architectural splendour, said the postal official
The My stamp initiative, containing 12 stamps, is priced at Rs 300 per sheet and is available for purchase at the Hyderabad General Post Office (GPO). Rippan Dullet, Director of Postal Services(HQ), Telangana Circle, was also present.
