Former MLA Jagga Reddy donates Rs 4 lakh to cancer patient in Telangana’s Sangareddy

Says many families are being pushed into financial distress after being diagnosed with cancer

Sangareddy: Former Sangareddy MLA T Jagga Reddy donated Rs 4 lakh to a woman suffering from cancer, reaffirming his commitment to support patients battling the disease in his constituency.

On Monday, he met the patient, Ranemma, a resident of Someshwaravada in Sangareddy town, and handed over the cash. Speaking on the occasion, Jagga Reddy said many families were being pushed into financial distress after being diagnosed with cancer. He added that he had decided to extend support to such patients within Sangareddy constituency.

A few months ago, Jagga Reddy had donated Rs 10 lakh in cash to another cancer patient, Amani, a resident of Sadasivpet town.
