A spotted deer was killed by a pack of street dogs in Yellaram village of Sadasivapet mandal. Locals tried to intervene but could not save the animal. Forest officials examined the carcass and buried it as per guidelines
Sangareddy: A spotted deer was killed by street dogs at Yellaram village in Sadasivapet mandal on Wednesday.
Locals spotted a pack of street dogs chasing the deer and attempted to rescue it by driving the dogs away. However, by the time they reached the spot, the deer had already succumbed to the attack.
Forest officials, who later examined the carcass, buried it in a nearby forest area as per standard guidelines.
