Suryapet: An unidentified person was found murdered in Kagitha Ramachandrapuram village under Nadigudem police station limits on Wednesday.
Police retrieved the body from a water tank and suspect the victim was strangled to death, as a rope was found tied around the neck. After committing the murder, the assailants reportedly placed the body in a plastic sack and dumped it in the tank.
A case has been registered and investigation is under way.
