The NIA conducted searches in Bhukya Thanda of Maripeda mandal on Wednesday after receiving reports about a Maharashtra native, allegedly a key accused in an ongoing case, who had recently come to work in local chilli fields.
Mahabubabad: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in Bhukya Thanda of Maripeda mandal in the district on Wednesday.
Searches were carried out in the thanda, which falls under Maripeda police station limits, after it was reported that a person from Maharashtra had come to work in the local chilli fields some time ago.
The person in question was said to be a key accused in a case, sources said.
