According to victims, the women were roped in to work at a clothes showroom, which is being prepared for inauguration. The cable wire snapped off from the third floor and fell to the ground floor. Several women sustained fractures. They were rushed to a local hospital.
The condition of a couple of them is said to be critical. Meanwhile, the kin of the victims accused the owner of the shop of acting negligently at the work site. They demanded justice.
