Hyderabad: The Telugu mythological film Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, was recently screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The screening was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, marking a proud occasion for the Telugu film industry.

Produced by veteran actor and filmmaker Dr M Mohan Babu under the banner of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa is based on the story of the legendary devotee of Lord Shiva. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.

Officials who attended the screening appreciated the film’s visuals, emotional depth, and storytelling. The last 40 minutes of the film were especially noted for their strong emotional impact. The story highlights Kannappa’s unwavering devotion, and the film stays close to its spiritual roots.
