Jagtial: A Panchayat Secretary who uploaded a photograph of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy instead of his live photo in an official app was suspended by the District Collector for dereliction of duty.
T Rajanna, Panchayat Secretary of Chandaiahpalli village in Buggaram mandal, was required to register his daily attendance in a sanitation monitoring app by uploading a live photo along with geo-coordinates at 7 a.m.
However, he allegedly uploaded a photo of the Chief Minister instead of his own. District Collector Satya Prasad suspended him on Friday for violating official protocol.
