Hyderabad: Two floodgates of Osman Sagar were lifted, resulting in the release of about 220 cusecs of floodwater into the Musi river on Wednesday.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), which has been monitoring the water levels closely, advised residents living along the Musi to stay alert as the water flow is expected to increase.
