A one-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a stray dog while playing outside his home in Venkatraopet village, Pinapaka mandal. The incident raises fresh concerns over stray dog menace in rural Telangana.
Kothagudem: A one-year-old boy was attacked by a stray dog injuring him seriously at Venkatraopet village of Pinapaka mandal in the district on Tuesday.
The boy’s parents Santosh and Vennela said the dog attacked their son Soundapu Eshanvik when he was playing in the verandah of their house. He suffered bleeding injuries on his cheeks and his body.
He was rushed to Government Hospital at Manuguru and from there to Bhadrachalam Government Area Hospital for treatment. The boy was said to be out of danger.
