Hyderabad: A local court on Tuesday convicted and sentenced a man to ten days’ imprisonment for covering his face with a handkerchief and moving suspiciously.
Syed Sajid (30), a labourer from Yakutpura, was caught by Chandrayangutta police and booked under Section 61(b) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 F, which penalises covering the face or disguising oneself with intent to commit an offence.
He was produced before the morning court at Nampally, sentenced to a 10-day jail term, and shifted to Central Prison, Chanchalguda.
