Hyderabad: A journalist from Jubilee Hills was allegedly duped to the tune of over Rs 3 lakh in a land deal at Aziz Nagar in Moinabad.
The complainant, Mohd Shamshuddin (60), stated that one Madi Ram Reddy (66) took Rs 3 lakh in advance and additional payments on the pretext of selling him two acres at Aziz Nagar. However, later, it was revealed that the land actually belonged to another person from Banjara Hills.
Based on a complaint, the Moinabad police have registered a case and are investigating.
