Hyderabad Traffic Police has imposed diversions for Durga Matha idol immersions on October 1 from 3 PM to October 2, 6 AM. Several routes near Tank Bund and PVNR Marg will be restricted. Public is advised to take alternate roads
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic diversions in connection with Durga Matha idol immersions at People’s Plaza, Garden Point, Jalavihar baby ponds, and Sanjeevaiah Park.
The restrictions will be in force from 3 pm on October 1 till 6 am on October 2.
Accordingly, traffic will be diverted at key junctions, including VV Statue, Old police station, Saifabad, Ravindra Bharathi, Liberty, Basheerbagh, Old Ambedkar Statue, Upper Tank Bund, Nallagutta ‘X’ roads and adjoining stretches.
Only immersion vehicles will be permitted on certain routes towards Iqbal Minar, PVNR Marg and NTR Marg. Motorists have been advised to avoid the immersion routes, use alternate roads, and follow real-time updates on Hyderabad Traffic Police’s social media handles.
